Potato Class integrates with the tools schools and families already use for seamless sign-in, classroom management, and data portability.
Students and teachers can sign in with any of these providers for automatic cloud sync and cross-device access.
Students and teachers sign in with their existing school credentials through Clever Instant Login. No separate passwords needed — Potato Class appears in the Clever portal alongside other school apps. Supports student, teacher, and district admin accounts.
Sign in with any Google account, including Google Workspace for Education accounts managed by schools. Works on web and iPad with one-tap sign-in.
Sign in with Apple ID using Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple account credentials. Supports Apple’s private email relay for users who prefer not to share their email address.

Authentication (sign-in) and Firestore (cloud database) for user profiles and progress data. Firebase is SOC 1/2/3 certified with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
Secure server-side proxy for API calls — handles text-to-speech synthesis, payment processing, and Clever SSO token exchange. No data is stored beyond immediate processing.
Static hosting and CDN for the web application at potatoclass.com. Serves application files only — no user data processing, analytics, or tracking.
For districts that use Clever, we accept Clever SSO sign-in and roster sync. Used as an authentication and rostering provider only — no other data is shared with Clever.
